Let me start out by thanking you for visiting the Chicago Ghost Hunters Society website, and your interest in ghost. The Chicago Ghost Hunters Society was started in 2000, I started ghost hunting 11 years ago and I have over 150 members. You have to be at least 18-years old to go on any investigations with me. I started the society to educate people in the paranormal, a lot of people think that ghosts are evil or they are there to scare them. So when people tell me they have something going on in their house and they want to know what to do. I suggest we make a date, I will come over to their house and try to comfort them about living in a haunted house. First thing I tell them, I’ve been living in a haunted house for the past nine years. Some people feel they should move, or even went as far as to want to sell their house. We also try to sit down and explain to them the real reason why they might be experiencing Paranormal events. The Chicago Ghost Hunters Society does not charge for investigations, but we will except donations. We sell t-shirts to help pay for film, gas, and other things we might need to travel. There are Rules & Protocols we follow, especially when it comes to being in someone's home or in a cemetery. We do not use Ouija boards or perform seances during investigation, No alcohol before, during or after an investigation if remaining on site. Membership is free, members that live close to one another get together and go on ghost hunts, if they get any photos they usually e-mail me to tell me their stories or send their photos. If the photo contains something of the paranormal I would place the best ones on my web site. I also will put some of the best ghost stories on my website. We try to get together every now and then.
